- To provide, organise and disseminate resources which support the school curriculum and students interests efficiently and equitably.
- To encourage the enjoyment of books and reading.

- tuition in the skills of information literacy - individually or in cooperation with class teachers
- tuition in using library related software. For example : Media Scan, Guidelines, SAGE. the library catalogue.
- fiction recommendations and wider reading talks in cooperation with class teachers.

The library hours are 8.00am to 4.00pm weekdays (excluding school holidays).
